NUMS Announces Ehsaas Undergraduate Scholarship Program
The National University of Medical Sciences has announced the Ehsaas Undergraduate Scholarship Program Batch-III for the candidates. The main aim is to encourage the students to get higher education by eliminating the limitation of resources. The university will select the eligible candidates for the offered scholarship program so that they can continue to study without facing any financial problems. The candidates that have done the intermediate can apply for the announced scholarship program. This scholarship will cover tuition fees and also provide the annual stipend to the candidate till the completion of the degree completion.
Eligibility Criteria
- The candidates who are already enrolled in spring and fall semester 2021 in the offered undergraduate degree programs in NUMS, Army Medical College, and AFPGMI are eligible to apply for the scholarship.
- The age limit of the candidates will be followed according to university regulations for admission at the NUMS University.
- The candidates already availing of any other scholarship program or grant from any other source are not eligible to apply for this program.
- Students who have secured admission in various categories such as self-sustain/self-support/self-finance evening programs can not apply for this scholarship. The distant learning students /programs are also ineligible.
How to Apply?
The candidates have to apply online according to the instructions provided by the university.
- The candidates are required to submit the application and required documents to the Program Director (EUSP) NUMS. The documents include a Copy of CNIC (Self and Father/ Mother/ Guardian), Salary Slip / Income Certificate (Father/Guardian, Mother), Copies of last Six Month Utility Bills (Electricity, Gas, Telephone, Water), Copy of Rent agreement in case of Rented House, Copies of Last Fee Receipts of Applicant and Siblings, Copies of Medical bills/ expenditure related documents, 01 Passport size Photograph of Applicant and Picture of Applicant’s house.
- The last date for online application submission is 31 December 2021. So the candidates are informed to fill and submit the application form according to the given schedule.
Scholarship Award Process
The applications of all potential and eligible candidates will be reviewed by the scrutiny committee and NUMS’ Institutional Scholarship Award Committee (ISAC) will shortlist the talented candidates for the interview. The ISAC will recommend potential candidates to the Higher Education Commission for the further process. The Ehsaas Undergraduate Scholarship will be awarded after approval by HEC. Moreover, the candidates are informed that the scholarship funding will be continued for the next semester/year subject to the satisfactory academic performance of the candidates.
